Important information regarding your privacy

At Adam Internet, we do everything we can to deliver the highest level of security to all our customers including warning of potential scams. Recently we have become aware of increased occurrences of a scam dubbed "vishing" (voice phishing) whereby a caller poses as a business representative in an attempt to gain personal and private information from individuals.

Phishing or vishing scams can come in a variety of forms so please be vigilant when providing your personal information to anyone over the phone or online. Most established institutions whom you have an existing relationship with will not proactively contact you for personal information.

If you receive an unsolicited email or phone call that requests you to provide sensitive information over the telephone, do not comply. Instead, you should locate a contact number for the institution that supposedly placed the call (do not use a contact number provided by the caller), and call the institution directly to check the legitimacy of the request.
