Netcomm NB11W Hardware Setup Guide For VDSL2
This guide will walk you through setting up the Netcomm NB11W modem for use with the VDSL2 service.
|Step 1 - Turning On The Modem|
|Plug the power adapter to both a power socket and the rear of the modem. The proceed to turn on the modem.|
|Step 2 - Powering Up The Modem|
|Allow 60 - 90 seconds for the Netcomm NB11W to power up.|
|Step 3 - Connecting The Modem To The Phone Socket|
|Using the phone cable that is supplied with the Netcomm NB11W, connect the modem to the telephone wall socket labelled Internet.|
|Step 4 - Connecting To The Exchange|
|Once the phone cable is connected and modem powered on, the VDSL/DSL light on the modem will commence flashing. This indicates that the modem negotiating a connection with the VDSL/DSL equipment at your local telephone exchange. When this negotiation is successfully completed the VDSL/DSL light will remain permanently on.|
