Netcomm NB16WV Hardware Setup Guide For NBN

This guide will walk you through setting up the Netcomm NB16WV modem for use with the NBN service.

Step 1 - Turning On The Router Modem Setup
Plug the power adapter to both a power socket and the rear of the router. The proceed to turn on the router.

The Netcomm NB16WV has an on / off switch at its rear.
Step 2 - Powering Up The Router
Allow 60 - 90 seconds for the Netcomm NB16WV to power up.
Step 3 - Connecting The Router to the NBN Network
Using the ethernet cable supplied with the Netcomm NB16WV, connect the router's WAN port to the the data port on the Network Termination Device (NTD) associated with your Adam Internet broadband connection.

Once your Adam Internet broadband service has been provisioned, we will send your mobile phone (if supplied) a text message with information including the NTD port number that has been reserved for your broadband service.

Step 4 - Connecting To The Network
Once the ethernet cable is connected and router powered on, the WAN light on the router will turn on. This indicates that the router is connected to the network.
