Netcomm NB16WV Hardware Setup Guide For Fibre
This guide will walk you through setting up the Netcomm NB16WV modem for use with the Fibre service.
|Step 1 - Turning On The Router|
Plug the power adapter to both a power socket and the rear of the router. The proceed to turn on the router.
The Netcomm NB16WV has an on / off switch at its rear.
|Step 2 - Powering Up The Router|
|Allow 60 - 90 seconds for the Netcomm NB16WV to power up.|
|Step 3 - Connecting The Router to the Fibre Network|
Using the ethernet cable which is supplied with the Netcomm NB16WV, connect the router to the the ethernet wall socket at the premises. Should the premises have multiple ethernet sockets, you will need to establish which socket is connected to the Network Termination Point (NTP). It is typically labelled Internet.
The ethernet port will have been installed during the establishment of the premises. It can sometimes be found in the pantry or laundry. If your're unable to locate your ethernet port, please contact the premises builders.
|Step 4 - Connecting To The Network|
|Once the ethernet cable is connected and router powered on, the WAN light on the router will turn on. This indicates that the router is connected to the network.|
