Cisco SPA122 ATA AdamTalk (VoIP) Setup Guide For AdamTalk
This guide will walk you through configuring the Cisco SPA122 ATA ATA for use with the AdamTalk service.
|Plug the power adapter to turn on the Cisco SPA122 ATA.|
|Allow 60 - 90 seconds for the Cisco SPA122 ATA to power up.|
|Connect your computer to the Ethernet port on the Cisco SPA122 ATA with the provided ethernet cable.|
|Open the web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari etc) on the computer, type in http://192.168.15.1/ in the address bar and then press Enter.|
Log into the ATA by entering the Username admin and the Password admin.
The press the Log In button.
Enter the following details in the Line 1 area.
Set Proxy to sip.sa.adam.com.au.
Enter your VoIP phone number (e.g.08xxxxxxxx) in the Display Name and User ID fields.
Enter your Adam Internet VoIP password in the Password field.
Leave all other fields as default.
Then press the Submit button.
|The settings will have been applied once the configuration page refreshes.|
Remove the ethernet cable from both the Ethernet port on the back of the ATA and your computer.
Now, connect one end of the same ethernet cable to one of the ethernet ports on your modem / router and the other end to the Internet port on the back of the ATA. Once this is successfully completed the Internet light on the ATA will commence flashing.
Connect your telephone to the Phone 1 port on the back of the ATA. Once this is successfully completed the Phone 1 light will activate.
Your AdamTalk service is now ready for use.
