This page will guide you through setting up your Adam Internet email account in Apple Mail.

This guide will show you how to set up Apple Mail so it will send and receive mail for your Adam Internet email account. Please follow these instructions carefully. Do you have an active internet connection?
Please ensure that you are able to load a web page (such as www.adam.com.au) on the hardware in which the email client is to be configured on.

If the page doesn't load, try a different page. If it still won't load, it means your Internet connection may not be working properly. You should contact the provider of your Internet connection for some assistance. If the internet connection for the hardware in question is from Adam Internet please call our Helpdesk on (08) 8423 4000.

Open the 'Mail' app
Step 2
If the window as displayed in Step 5 is not displayed then:
1. Open the mail menu
2. Select Preferences.

Otherwise, skip to Step 5.

Select the 'Accounts' button
Step 4
Select the '+' button to add a new email account
Step 5
1. Enter your name such as 'Mr Example' in the 'Full Name:' field.
2. Enter your email address such as 'website.example@adam.com.au' in the 'Email Address:' field
3. Enter your email account password in the 'Password:' field

Press the 'Continue' button
Step 6
1. Select 'POP' from the 'Account Type:' menu
2. Set the 'Description:' field to 'Adam Internet'
3. Set the 'Incoming Mail Server:' to 'securemail.adam.com.au'
4. Set the 'User Name:' to your full email address such as 'website.example@adam.com.au'
5. Set the 'Password:' field to you email account password

Press the 'Continue' button
Step 7
1. Set the 'Description:' field to 'Adam Internet'
2. Set the 'Outgoing Mail Server' field to 'securemail.adam.com.au'
3. Check the 'Use only this server' checkbox
4. Check the 'Use Authentication' checkbox
5. Set the 'User Name:' to your full email address such as 'website.example@adam.com.au'
6. Set the 'Password:' field to you email account password

Press the 'Continue' button

Press the 'Create' button
Step 9
You will now be able to commence using Apple Mail with your Adam Internet email account
