Welcome to the home of
Rosabel Devon Rex.
Hi, my name Hilde De Smet and together with hubby David and baby daughter Natasha, I am proud to introduce you to Rosabel Devon Rex. On this website, you can read all about what makes the Devon Rex so positively different. You will be introduced to our 2 special Devons, Maya& Cookie. You will find all pages decorated with pictures of our feline kids. We are a small home-based cattery and do not use cages. All our cats are part of the family and kittens are raised in a loving home environment. We are dedicated to breeding Devon Rex cats for health, type and great temperament. For this purpose, we are committed to limiting the number of breeding cats. Keeping down the stresses that a multi-cat environment brings with it, ensures our cats are happy and healthy. With fewer litters, it also means that each litter that is born in our house, gets 100% of our attention. They are part of our daily activities, get loved, cuddled & played with, and will therefore fit right into their new families. Kittens rely on that positive human interaction during the early stages of their life to become the human-loving, nosy, playful and incredibly bonding cats that a Devon Rex should be.
We imported our first breeding queen, Kiwi, from New Zealand and had our first litter of kittens in January 2004. Kiwi and her gorgeous daughter Cookie have since been retired. Our newest family member Sari has arrived and we hope Sari will have some lovely kittens for us in the future. Sari is from imported UK and Australian lines.
Sari and Cookie make a great team with our other spoiled pet Devon Rex, Maya, who is a great auntie to all kittens.
Rosabel Devon Rex is located at Seaford Rise, 40 minutes south of Adelaide, South Australia. We are registered breeders with the GCCFSA. I am also the Website Editor of the Rex Cat Fanciers of South Australia.
Kittens are occasionally available to selected homes. Please feel free to contact us to find out about kitten availability or for more information on the Devon Rex. |
