What Is Peering?
Peering, in general, is a connection between 2 or more hosts which allows the sharing of data. In
reference to Adam Internet, "Peering" allows us to provide you with more data for the same price.
This way, you can download data from sites who connect through PIPE Networks, only to have it count
against your "local" download allowance. For more information on peering,
What Is PIPE Networks?
PIPE Networks is Australia's largest peering provider. It spans across
6 cities throughout Australia which allows ISPs and other online delivery

What Is Local Data?
With your Adam Internet account, you are allowed on a monthly basis the
equivalent value of your monthly data through our Peering Resources.
Peering Resources include traffic between other Adam Internet customers,
PIPE Networks, AdNAP, GamingSA and File Arena. For example: If you are
on the AdamDirect Light account you can download 5000 MB of internet traffic
as well as 5000 MB of data through our Peering Resources. This is refered to
as the Double Data Bonus (DDB) and is offered at no additional cost.
