Music Scholarships

The choir offers an annual scholarship valued at up to $1,000 open to any young person with proven musical ability, vocal and/or instrumental, aged between 12 and 15 years as at 1st January in the year following auditions. The award is designed to recognise the ability of outstanding young musicians, to encourage them to pursue their studies and to provide opportunities for the winners to perform publicly as associate artists with the choir.

Applications from young musicians are invited from May/June onwards in each year and details are published on this web site at that time.

Schools are notified well in advance to allow them to advise students.

The 2010 Information and Application Form will become available early in 2009 on the following link. Information and Application Form

Closing date for applications: TBA August 2009.

The choir wishes to sincerely thank all those who participate. The standard of the performances each year has been at the highest level. Well done to everyone.
