A Record of SACAS Events in 2004 & 2005

December 2005 - Christmas Picnic

The Christmas Picnic in 2004 was the first ever event held by SACAS and there was never any doubt that it would be repeated in 2005.  Once again a large number of people were in attendance despite the fact that a Wiggles Christmas Concert was thoughtlessly scheduled for the same day!  Shame on you Captain Feather Sword.  However the record for the largest number of people in attendance was still broken and the event was a tremendous success.  Father Christmas again made and appearance and had a lovely time meeting all of the children and giving them a present.  Father Christmas also left with a lovely bottle of Shiraz to remember his visit to South Australia.  Good on ya Santa!

December 2004 - Christmas Picnic

SACAS was formed in late 2004 and its event schedule began with the 2004 Christmas Picnic.  The large number of people attending this inaugural event confirmed that there was definitely a need for a Chinese adoption support group in South Australia.  Of course Father Christmas in attendance and gave presents to all of the children.  SACAS are currently in the process of retrieving photographs of this very special day in the history of SACAS, so please visit this page again soon.
