PHILLIPS OIL PRODUCTS LIMITED( now CONOCO PHILLIPS) established operations in QUEENSLAND and northern NEW SOUTH WALES by April 1961. By February 1967 PHILLIPS had withdrawn from marketing in Australia. 140 Petrol service stations which marketed from MARYBOROUGH QLD in the north to TAMWORTH NSW in the south were taken over by H.C.SLEIGH (GOLDEN FLEECE) (now part of CALTEX) while BORAL bought the LPG business.
