Nokia N73 Housing Removal…

The story phone was sitting on breakfast bar in kitchen, went to pick it up, it was sitting in a pool of water…. Camera lens had water on the inside.

Anywho here it is…

First take the front plate off..

the front plate pops off, there is a guide to do this on Hofo. Just search

Front plate off.

Now undo these four screws. Then the two at the top. ( Below)

now slip the little black frame off of the LCD screen, and remove the LCD from the aluminum frame. There is the last screw to remove ( that took me a while to find)

then the whole board just pops up slide the board upwards away from the “pop port” and bam… the board is out

there you go…

Pop port and bottom end.

Top end Camera module..

Back Housing bottom end.

Back housing Top end.

That back insert pops out.

so I hopes this helps as I tried to find a something like this on the net. But no luck so I did it all for you….
