Netcomm NB9WMAXXn AdamTV with Fetch Setup Guide
This guide will walk you through setting up the Netcomm NB9WMAXXn modem router for use with AdamTV with Fetch.
Configuring the Modem
Step 1 | |
Plug the power adapter to turn On the NB9WMAXXn. | |
Step 2 | |
Allow 60 - 90 seconds for the NB9WMAXXn to power up. | |
Step 3 | |
Connect your computer to any Ethernet port on the NB9WMAXXn. | |
Step 4 | |
Open the web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari etc) on the computer, type in http://192.168.1.1/ in the address bar and then press Enter. | ![]() |

Log into the modem by entering the Username 'admin' and the Password 'admin'. The press the 'Login' button. |

Select Advanced from the left hand menu. | ![]() |

Select WAN from the left hand menu. Then, click Add below the table on the right hand side. |

Now set: PORT: [0-3] to 0 VPI: [0-255] to 9 VCI: [32-65535] to 89 VLAN Mux to unticked Service Category to UBR Without PCR VLAN Mux to unticked Finally, click Next |

Set the Connection Type to MAC Encapsulation Routing (MER) and set the Encapulsation Mode to LLC/SNAP-BRIDGING. When done, click Next. |

Select Obtain an IP address automatically Select Use the following default gateway Untick Use IP Address Tick Use WAN Interface and select pppoe_0_8_35/ppp_0_8_35_1 Select Obtain DNS server addresses automatically Then click Next |

Leave Enable NAT and Enable Firewall unticked. Set Enable IGMP Multicast and Enable WAN Service as ticked. Enter fetchtv into the Service Name field. Then click Next and Save. |

Ensure that Enable IGMP Snooping is ticked. Select Blocking Mode. All other settings are correct by default. Then click Save. |

Ensure that Enable virtual ports on is selected and the field next to it contain ENET(1-4). Finally, click Save/Apply. Your Netcomm NB9WMAXXn is now configured for AdamTV with Fetch. |
