Netcomm NB9WMAXX Firmware Upgrade Guide For ADSL, ADSL2+ & Naked DSL

This guide will walk you through upgrading the firmware on the Netcomm NB9WMAXX modem for use with the ADSL, ADSL2+ & Naked DSL service.

Please ensure that you have downloaded and have loaded on your computer the latest version of the Netcomm NB9WMAXX firmware.

Step 1
Plug the power adapter to turn on the Netcomm NB9WMAXX.
Step 2
Allow 60 - 90 seconds for the Netcomm NB9WMAXX to power up.
Step 3
Connect your computer to an Ethernet port on the Netcomm NB9WMAXX.
Step 4
Open the web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari etc) on the computer, type in http://192.168.1.1/ in the address bar and then press Enter. Netcomm NB9WMAXX 5

Log into the modem by entering the Username admin and the Password admin.

The press the Login button.

From the left menu select Management. Netcomm NB9WMAXX 7

From the left menu select Update Firmware. Netcomm NB9WMAXX 9

Press the Browse or Choose File button.

Navigate to and select the firmware of the modem from your computer.

Press the Update Firmware button.

You will now be presented with a message notifying you that the update is in progress.

The firmware upgrade is complete once the modem has fully rebooted. This may take up to three minutes.
