In 2007 Hahndorf Soccer Club will be fielding four senior sides in the FFSA South Australian Amateur Soccer League making us the largest senior football club in the Hills at any level.
Our Firsts & Reserve sides will contest the Saturday Third Division and we will also field 'Super C' and 'Social C' Grade sides in the Saturday C's Division.
The Club is pleased to announce we have been able to retain the services of Peter Cottle as Head Coach for the 2007 season.
Former senior player Edmondo Palumbo will join the coaching staff in the Assistant Coach's role after a very successful stint as a junior coach for a number of years with the Club.
The Super C's will be player-coached by Gary Wonnacott who joins us from Stirling District while Wayne Forreseter will continue to player-coach the Social C's.
We are also pleased to announce that Fitness & Nutrition expert Chris Wilson has joined the coaching staff and his knowledge is sure to play an important role in helping the Club reach and exceed it's goals on the field this season.
With Peter's appointment in 2006 the Club adopted a strong policy of youth development with a view to establishing long term sustainable success on the field and bringing with it a welcoming environment for the Club's junior players to progress though the ranks to senior football.
During the regular season the senior squad trains on tuesday and thursday nights from 6:45pm at Mylor Oval and the Club provides a bbq meal at the end of each session.
