Human Interest at Adelaide Zoo Adam Internet is sponsoring the Adelaide Zoo with a project that has never been seen before.From the 2nd to the 28th January 2007, four groups of six humans will be locked in an unused Adelaide Zoo primate exhibit for observation for a week. This brave group of volunteers will become The Human Zoo. From the 2nd of January Adam Internet will be streaming the activities of these human primates live at http://humanzoo.adam.com.au between 9.30am and 5.00pm. You can find out what is happening daily within the Human Zoo in The Advertiser and Sunday Mail or online at AdelaideNow. The project is being run to raise awareness and funds for conservation at the Adelaide Zoo in conjunction with AdelaideNow, The Advertiser, Sunday Mail, Channel 7, Mix 102.3 and Woman's Day. New Web-Mail System Adam Internet is in the final phases of beta testing its new web-mail system. You can trial this system at http://webmail2.adam.com.au. New benefits and features for members include:
- an improved address book that is easer to navigate and includes a new grouping feature that will make bulk emailing even faster The new webmail system will be one of the first
features launched in early 2007. In conjunction with the improved webmail system, Adam Internet has increased its mail quota for all customers from 10 MB to 50 MB of space, allowing you to store even
more emails. Premium News Service Released The Premium News Service has now been enabled for members with ADSL accounts. Currently, all ADSL accounts have been given a generous 3 GB quota for the News Service per month for free. Members can also upgrade to a special 'Silver Access' level for an extra $6.50 per month, increasing the quota to 25 GB per month.* To find out more about the Premium News Service, access our Members Services Area at https://members.adam.com.au and select the 'Newsgroup Manager'. * 3 month minimum period required for Silver Access. Newsgroup quotas are based around a
calendar month, and reset on the first day of each month, the data also counts towards your external download usage. New range of broadband plans available in January 2007 Adam Internet is devoted to staying on the cutting edge of technology and as such will be releasing a new series of Annex-M and 8000k/384k plans in January. Annex-M will be available for all Adam Internet Business accounts and enables much higher upstream speeds of up to 2500k for ADSL2+ services, meaning you can send and receive your data faster then ever before. For all customers on the AdamHome plans or those unable to currently get ADSL2+ broadband, you will no longer be limited to 1500k/256k services. Anywhere you can currently access ADSL broadband will be upgraded to support a new 8000k/384k service. Thank you for your support in the 2006 MRA (SA) Kids Toy Run ![]() On Sunday 10th December 2006 Adam Internet joined over 20,000 motorcyclists to give underprivileged children the Christmas they deserve. Over $5,000 worth of gifts were donated by our members with Adam Internet purchasing an extra $10,000 worth. The toys
were then loaded into the Adam Internet convoy and transported as part of the Motorcycle Rider Association's (SA) Annual Toy Run for Kids. A big "thank you" to those who donated gifts, or who lined the streets from Glenelg to Hahndorf Oval to watch the procession. Free Plan Change Options Adam Internet has announced new free plan change options from 20th November 2006. - if you are in a contract you can now go up in your plan for free - if you are out of contract you can move both up or down for free as long as you are maintaining the same connection speed If you are in contract
