| Mail Box Over Quota? | 18 Mar 2003 |
|---|---|
If you receive a message telling you that your mailbox is over quota it probably means that you need to empty your TRASH file in the web mail program. To do this, go to the Adam Home Page and log on to the “Check My Email” section. Once the new screen opens, look in the top right corner and change the open folder to TRASH. Delete the messages in your TRASH file. By default, your web mail is set to save the messages you delete from your inbox to the TRASH file and sometimes they build up there and end up putting your mail box over quota. If you prefer not to save your deleted emails to the TRASH file but want to delete them immediately, you can. To do this, go to OPTIONS at the top of the web mail screen and then, under MAIL MANAGEMENT, click on DELETING AND MOVING MESSAGES. Now remove the tick from “When deleting messages, move them to your Trash folder instead of marking them as deleted”. |
