I have a variety of interests, ranging from religion and politics, to the study of ancient languages to playing online MUDs. Many find my interests rather eclectic and cannot find the one commonality between them all. The commonality is that all my interests somehow help me and hopefully others understand the human psyche and mind - either by how humans relate to god, to each other or how they relate in imaginary worlds.
I also am a keen and - might I say - adept cook. I recently purchased Nigella Lawson's Feast - a truly bizarre purchase considering the place that I live is a bed sitter and has no oven, stove or any other useful cooking equipment. I watched one of her cooking shows with some friends and the next thing I knew, I cooked her Christmas dinner of Garlic Prawns, Tagliate of Beef with Crispy Potatoes and Divine Ice Cream; my mouth still waters.
Other than that, I enjoy a good night out and occasionally I'll go out clubbing, but I'm getting a little too old for that now. Dinner or lunch with friends is exciting enough for me...
