I am one of South Australia's (in)famous open source advocates. You should be able to tell if you notice that four out of the five of the links to your right are to open source and/or Linux based associations. I became involved in Linux about 10 years ago and now I work for Bull Media, a software company in South Australia, using many open source tools and technologies.
My main interests do, indeed, center around computers. I have a vast collection of computer books ranging from books on particular products, such as the Apache web server, to computer science type books such as Donald E. Knuth's Art of Computer Programming (Vols 1-3).
When I'm not programming, my favourite past time - apart from seeing friends - is to play an online MUD called Achaea - Dreams of Divine Lands. People find me just as quirky there as they do in real life!
