Adam API

Adam Connection and Usage Information XML

Adam Internet has upgraded the usage XML system allowing much more flexibility for developers. Usage, plan information, connection stats, daily history and VoIP information can all be monitored. For improved security, account usage information can be accessed via a token which can be created using the Token Manager.

How the Token Manager Works

A security token, or token for short, is a unique number that represents the account that was used to create it. The token simply tells the XML server which account to retrieve usage information for, eliminating the need for a username and password. An account can have many tokens and account holders can create and delete them as needed for each account. The tokens are a unique alpha-numeric code randomly generated by the account holder that they can then use to authenticate with a 3rd party applications utilising the Adam API.

Token Manager in the Members Area

Adam Internet customers can log into their Members Services Area and use the Token Manager to create and delete tokens.
