2008 Reunion

The reunion is being planned to take place on the Gold Coast over the weekend of

Saturday 8^th – Tall Ships Outing - McLaren’s Landing, South Stradbroke Island

Accommodation has now been negotiated and rooms are on hold ready for bookings

Mantra Legends Hotel is holding 15 rooms for Friday 7^th and Saturday 8^th March 2008. Accommodation is available on nights either side of these dates should anyone require it, but are not being held so it is advisable to book soon (the same rate will apply).

Proposed Itinerary

Friday 7^th March	Meet in Tales Bar on the Ground Floor of the hotel for welcome drinks. The hotel will set aside an area for our Group.
6.30pm ‘til late
Saturday 8^th March	Meet in foyer for coach transfer to Marina Mirage.
9.15am	Meet in foyer for coach transfer to Marina Mirage.
9.45am	Guests will be met at Marina Mirage and escorted to the luxuious ‘Sir Henry Morgan’.
10.00am	Tall Ships departs for a calm water cruise to our exotic island paradise.
10.15am	Morning Tea served on board
10.30am	Speed boat rides off side of the boat
11.30am	Arrive McLarens Landing on South Stradbroke Island
12.15pm	BBQ lunch buffet & drinks
1.00pm	Enjoy the island’s facilities – beach, watersports, bar, snooker, etc..or just snooze under a palm tree on the beach!
2.30pm	Depart McLarens Landing for cruise back to Gold Coast
4.00pm	Arrive at Marina Mirage.
4.15pm	Coach transfer departs for return to Legends Hotel
Evening	At leisure ….we will send through some options within close proximity to the hotel ….so you don’t get lost getting home!
Sunday 9^th March	Recovery brunch …..time TBA depending on feedback of what time you’d like it (taking into account what time you get to bed Saturday night and what time you need to be heading off on Sunday!)
