Important changes to customer authentication

Introduction
Your attention is required

Dear Adam Internet Customer,

On the 28th of July 2009, we will be updating our security protocol and authentication systems. This upgrade requires that all of our customers authenticate with their full Adam Internet email address and will no longer allow you to connect by entering just your username.

Our systems indicate that you are one of the customers who will need to make a change to your modem settings in order for you to maintain an uninterrupted service.

From the 28th of July 2009, any customer who is not connected with their full Adam Internet email address (eg username@adam.com.au) entered into their modem settings will be unable to connect to the Internet. In an effort to avoid causing any disruption to your connection, we have included a tutorial on how to update the username in your Netcomm modem.

If you do not have a Netcomm modem we suggest you contact the company who manufactured your modem as Adam Internet is unable to support modems not purchased from us. A list of phone numbers for common modem vendors has been included below.

If you are a business customer who has purchased hardware through Adam Internet, please contact our Priority Business Support Help Desk on (08) 8423 4029, at your earliest convenience, should you require any assistance.

If your modem was supplied by Adam Internet and is not listed in this tutorial, we suggest you contact the help desk for guidance at the earliest possible convenience on (08) 8423 4000.
